AMI Membership levels:
- Affiliate Membership for non-marketers with an interest in marketing
- Student Membership for full-time and part-time undergraduate students
- Career Starter Membership for young marketers within 2 years after completion of their full-time study
- Associate Membership for marketing professionals in all sectors
- Fellow Members have held the Certified Practising Marketers (CPM) designation for a minimum of three years and have more than 15 years of marketing experience and 5 years in a senior/executive role. 
- Life Membership is the most prestigious honour that the AMI awards to members for outstanding service and leadership
